Job Overview

Summary:

As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the operational needs of our support services department.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating the activities of frontline staff and acting as a bridge between administration and various departments, ensuring the highest standard of service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and review standards and work procedures for all personnel.
- Plan work schedules and staffing assignments to guarantee adequate service levels.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members.
- Orient, develop, and supervise all supervisory and housekeeping personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections and provide recommendations for facility improvements.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing goals, achievements, and future strategies.
- Facilitate staff education and ongoing training initiatives.
- Maintain communication with staff, administration, and other departments.
- Coordinate external services (e.g., Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste Management, Document Destruction, and Recycling programs).

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a related field with significant customer/client interaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Capacity to maintain organization in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet navigation.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
