Job Title: Software Engineer I

Entegee is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer I to join our team. As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing cybersecurity system components, integrating components within the cybersecurity stack, and drafting and maintaining system design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cybersecurity system components, including SOAR and SIEM tools.
  • Integrate components within the cybersecurity stack.
  • Draft and maintain system design documentation per SDLC best practices.
  • Analyze customer requirements to provide implementation feasibility and effort estimation.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in software development and scripting (Python, Javascript, Powershell).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Knowledge of classified systems security guidelines.
  • Experience with Information Assurance (IA) hardening and compliance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of SIEM platforms (ArcSight, Elasticsearch, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with distributed event streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, Cloudera).
  • Experience supporting Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) transformations.
  • Experience with ServiceNow API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with task automation.
