Position Overview
- Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Office Coordinator is responsible for assessing referred patients, confirming insurance eligibility, creating care strategies, and managing home care provisions.
- Oversees patient admissions, organizes service schedules, and supervises direct care personnel.
- Handles scheduling responsibilities based on office requirements and recruits as well as manages administrative staff.
Key Qualifications
- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of two years in the home care sector is preferred.
Essential Skills
- Proven capability to collaborate with staff in formulating service delivery plans.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong observational skills, adaptable, and team-oriented.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities.
Desirable Skills
- Prior experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
