About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Civil Engineer to join our team in either Plano or Fort Worth. As a key member of our Site Design group, you will provide overall technical support and act as an advisor on complex projects.

This role offers flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities, to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote work-life balance. You will have the ability to travel for in-office activities, client and site visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as lead engineer on complex projects and provide high-level technical engineering design.
  • Execute QA/QC plans for the team and elevate the level of technical expertise within the team through technical design mentoring and training.
  • Lead the effort for putting together technical resources for the team and its projects.
  • Supervise/direct professionals and technical staff in the design approach to meet other project requirements.

You will be responsible for reviewing contracts with support of administration, promoting efficiencies in producing quality work, maintaining quality control, and adequately checking plans.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working collaboratively with others, having ownership in the work they do, using their talents to positively affect communities, and empowering others to use their talents.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8 or more years of related Civil Engineering experience.
  • Must be a registered professional and have at least four years of experience supervising technical personnel.
  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D.
