About the Center for Counseling and Student Development
The Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD) at the University of Delaware is a comprehensive student learning and psychological wellbeing program. It provides a diverse array of culturally informed services to support students in their academic, personal, and career pursuits. The CCSD is IACS accredited and sponsors interdisciplinary training, including an APA-accredited doctoral internship. The center operates from a brief therapy model, requiring clinicians to be adept at working in a fast-paced, team environment.



Responsibilities
As a Psychologist II, you will engage in clinical service provision, including individual and group counseling and crisis management. You will also play a critical role in the training program, providing support for and orientation of trainees to CCSD. You will supervise the counseling and clinical work of graduate students-in-training and postdoctoral staff members. Additionally, you will connect and liaise with campus colleagues and student organizations to develop relationships and programming to engage and improve students' experiences on campus.



Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed, experienced clinician with a doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. You should have advanced knowledge and understanding of the development of emerging adults, organizational and group dynamics, and student development issues and theory. Excellent interpersonal communication and team skills are required. You should be able to assess and record symptoms, reactions, and treatment progress and maintain legally and ethically sound documentation and electronic medical record practices.
