Job Title: Teller I

Job Summary:

As a Teller I at Enterprise Bank & Trust, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to clients by processing transactions, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a courteous and friendly manner, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
  • Perform minor account maintenance tasks, such as address changes and debit card maintenance, as trained and assigned.
  • Refer clients to internal experts when additional financial goals and needs are recognized.
  • Educate clients on bank technology, including mobile and online banking, ATM, and ITM.
  • Assist branch and fellow team members by achieving goals and sharing responsibility of daily tasks.
  • Ensure safe and sound banking practices, including adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist in opening and closing the branch, following procedures set by corporate security.

Requirements:

  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to cross-sell products and services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records.
  • Team-oriented, with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computer workstations, calculators, and copiers.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel to other locations as necessary for branch coverage.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience working in an environment with individual and team goals preferred, one year of cash handling experience preferred.

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Google Suite.
  • IBS.
  • Salesforce.
