We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex systems, including PLCs, electronics, pneumatics, and machining. You will also conduct preventive maintenance, overhauls, fabrication, programming, and installation to minimize downtime. If you have a passion for resolving complex equipment issues and optimizing reliability, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain complex electronic, mechanical, and PLC systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems, gauges, instrumentation, and mechanical interfaces
- Install, program, and adjust electronic, electric, and pneumatic controls and instrumentation
- Assist production workers in diagnosing malfunctions in systems and equipment
- Execute major equipment overhauls and test equipment after repairs
- Maintain production equipment while operating on a defined production schedule
- Operate general machinery and tools, including saws, drills, power tools, scissor lifts, and forklifts
- Interact with and maintain records in accordance with Maintenance Management System requirements
- Communicate via email and computer systems
- Complete duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety, and company programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Coordinate activities with Bakery personnel and other departments to minimize disruptions
- Escorts contractors while in the bakery facility
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in instrumentation, measurement and control systems, electronics, mechanical, and/or electrical experience in industrial and manufacturing machinery
- Experience in three of the following skills: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and food manufacturing process controls
- Knowledge of equipment set-up, functionality, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques
- Able to handle multiple tasks with the capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
- Must be at least 18 years of age
