Job Overview

Position Summary: The Quality Control Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and quality of residential construction projects. This position involves conducting thorough inspections and providing essential feedback to maintain high standards of safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site evaluations and develop comprehensive site maps for MHU or RV installations.
  • Regularly visit construction sites to monitor progress and report findings to the Project Manager.
  • Inspect all appliances and assess homes for any cosmetic defects prior to formal inspections.
  • Carry out monthly preventive maintenance checks on occupied homes and respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks throughout all inspection and maintenance tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in residential construction is mandatory.
  • Experience in maintenance or a related inspection field is crucial.
  • Ability to handle a physically demanding workload is essential.
  • Strong handyman skills are required, with experience in RV and manufactured housing maintenance being a plus.

Initial Expectations:

  • Commit to working a minimum of 12 hours per day, seven days a week, during the initial evaluation period.
  • Conduct assessments to determine suitable locations for temporary housing unit installations.
  • Oversee installation processes at various job sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Test all appliances and verify the overall functionality of homes once power is connected.
  • Address necessary repairs promptly to ensure homes are ready for occupancy.
