About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and systematic Assistant Manager to join our team at Olympus Property. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our leasing team, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain office and resident files with integrity, confidentiality, and security.
  • Safeguard and ensure all monies received are properly deposited and entered into the system in a timely manner.
  • Promptly attend to resident comments and/or complaints.
  • Take on leasing responsibilities, including leasing apartments when needed.
  • Inspect make-ready apartments prior to move-in.
  • Require all team members to be friendly, open, and available to residents and coworkers, while discouraging non-fraternization.
  • Manage and monitor all rental collection, including collecting rent in a timely manner and depositing all receipts prior to bank close each day.
  • Assess move-out condition of apartments and provide a final account statement with the final disposition.
  • Immediately inform and refer any liability claims, legal complaints, or other violations to the Property Manager, Regional Manager, and corporate office.
  • Stay current on local businesses, retail, hiring trends, new construction, and other aspects of the sub-market and overall market that could impact occupancy and/or income of the property.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience working on-site, including in an Assistant Manager support role.
  • Confidence to interact with anyone.
  • Above-average organization and verbal skills.
  • A strong, empathetic nature.
  • Pride in your work.
  • A natural-born go-getter with a great attitude.
  • A knack for customer care and problem-solving to make the most of any situation.
  • A well-organized multi-tasker who enjoys a fast-paced environment.
