We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Columbia, MD.

About the Role:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care. You will perform a variety of general patient care responsibilities, including measuring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering injections. Additionally, you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as answering phones, maintaining physician schedules, ordering supplies, and performing other administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist providers with patient flow
  • Perform general patient care responsibilities, including vital sign measurements and specimen collection
  • Administer injections and provide basic care
  • Manage administrative tasks, including phone calls and scheduling

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, and 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. You should also possess an American Heart Association CPR certification.
