About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Developer to join our Fusion Applications Technical Architecture team at Oracle. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining the next generation architecture for our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Cloud-Native Applications: You will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-native applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and gRPC.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to propose and review design, solutions, and implementation with an emphasis on metric-driven results.
  • Ensure Secure and Compliant Release Management: You will ensure safe and compliant release management across different stages, including operating the service through production and making operational and continuous improvements.
  • Analyze and Debug Issues: You will analyze and debug issues, including bugs, customer issues, and performance issues, and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Technical Field: You must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and/or equivalent IT industry experience.
  • 10+ Years of Software Development Experience: You must have at least 10 years of software development experience.
  • Proficient in Data Structures and Computer Fundamentals: You must be proficient in data structures and computer fundamentals.
  • Excellent Coding, Debugging, and Troubleshooting Skills: You must have excellent coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent Collaboration and Communication Skills: You must have excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good Understanding of Scalable Distributed Systems: You must have a good understanding of scalable distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management Systems: You must have knowledge of Identity and Access Management systems, including industry-standard protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Knowledge of AAA Concepts: You must have knowledge of AAA (authentication, authorization, and audit) concepts, in particular RBAC, ABAC, and policy-based access control models.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Deployment Security: You must have knowledge of cloud deployment security, security lifecycle, and operations practices.
  • Experience with Designing and Writing REST APIs: You must have experience with designing and writing REST APIs.
  • Experience Working with SQL or NoSQL Databases: You must have experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with GoLang Development: You must have experience with GoLang development, or be willing to invest to become an expert in GoLang development.
  • Familiarity with Open Source Tools and Integration: You must have familiarity with open source tools and integration.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Technologies: You must have knowledge of cloud architecture and technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh products.
  • Experience in DevOps Culture: You must have experience in DevOps culture, participated in on-call rotations, and demonstrated experience in detecting and reducing operational toil.
