SMA Investment Operations Analyst

As a Separately Managed Accounts Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the precise execution of investment directives within SMA frameworks while facilitating the timely and accurate communication of model adjustments to partner firms. You will predominantly operate autonomously on various tasks or under the guidance of senior personnel for more intricate assignments, projects, analyses, and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a crucial link among our investment division, trading desk, product management, legal team, client services, and diverse operational units to fulfill business objectives and address challenges.
- Utilize technology and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational growth.
- Engage in or spearhead team and departmental initiatives, as well as process improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the asset management sector, with a preference for familiarity with SMA.
- Operational expertise in securities, trading processes, portfolio oversight, trade settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, and reporting.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, adapting to various audiences.
- Maintain composure while navigating challenges and changes.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrate technological proficiency, with experience in CRD, Tableau, or Alteryx being advantageous.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and follow through methodically.
Compensation:
Southern California Base Salary Range: $92,423-$147,877
Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $77,983-$124,773
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, as well as a company-wide profitability bonus and a retirement plan with a generous employer contribution.
