Flight Paramedic Critical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic Critical Care to join our team at Penn State Health. As a Flight Paramedic Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in emergency situations, utilizing your expertise in advanced life support and stabilization techniques.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care to patients in emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support and stabilization techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and problem-solving.
- Implement treatment modalities and interventions to maximize positive patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in critical care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years of experience in advanced life support and stabilization techniques required.
- Three years of experience as a paramedic in a busy 911 system required.
- Department of Transportation (DOT) National Standard Curriculum for EMT-P required.
- Valid Paramedic credential within the Commonwealth of PA required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support (CPR), Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
- Pennsylvania EMSVO endorsement required.
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
- NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 required.
- Five years of experience in advanced life support and stabilization techniques in a busy 911 system.
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
- Neonatal resuscitation provider (NRP), S.T.A.B.L.E. provider.
- Flight Paramedic Certified (FP-C).
- Critical Care Education.
