Flight Paramedic Critical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic Critical Care professional to join our team at Penn State Health. As a Flight Paramedic Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing critical care life support and stabilization of chronically or acutely ill and/or injured adult and pediatric patients during scene responses and inter-hospital facility transports.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical care life support and stabilization of patients during scene responses and inter-hospital facility transports
- Collaborate with other health team members to provide continuity in patient care and implement treatment modalities and interventions
- Develop and maintain knowledge of advanced life support protocols and procedures
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and teamwork within the organization
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Five (5) years of experience in Advanced Life Support (Paramedic) required
- Three (3) years of experience in a busy 911 system (>10,000 calls per year) preferred
- Valid Paramedic credential within the Commonwealth of PA required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support (CPR), Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications required
- Pennsylvania EMSVO endorsement required
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license
- NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications required
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certifications
- Neonatal resuscitation provider (NRP), S.T.A.B.L.E. provider certifications
- Flight Paramedic Certified (FP-C) certification
- Critical Care Education
