Job Description

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Global Places and Security Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), you will play a critical role in implementing initiatives identified by the program Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as the GPS liaison to the IT org, identifying and engaging with correct points of contact for cross-functional project execution.
  • Establish a configuration and change management program for the GSOC and Technical Security Programs.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the GSOC and Technical Security programs.
  • Manage technology evaluation projects, including vendor engagement and requirements capture.
  • Manage technology deployment projects, including adherence to requirements, budget, and schedule.
  • Improve the GSOC communications capabilities.
  • Identify areas of inefficiencies within the GSOC program and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Love to build and innovate, always looking for ways to improve solutions and efficiency.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).

  • Experience with project management tools and principles (Asana, MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Highly motivated, efficient, organized, and laser-focused on detail.

About the Team:

The Global Places and Security team's mission is to act as a data-driven business enabler that ensures a safe and inclusive workplace, protecting our people, property, and brand. Collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders across America, EMEA, and APAC, this role will be focused on the financial management lifecycle and supplier landscape, including annual budget planning, tracking and dashboard reporting actual monthly spend, Requests for Proposals - RFPs, org financial health and savings optimization reporting to leadership, etc.

Compensation Disclosure:

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $189,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
