Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substitute Educational Support Specialist to join our team at Butler County Area Application Consortium. As a Substitute Educational Support Specialist, you will provide support to students with special needs in a variety of educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs in a one-on-one setting
- Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
- Support students with academic tasks, such as homework and projects
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or associate's degree
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Good physical health and mental and emotional stability
- Able to comply with the guidelines set forth in the No Child Left Behind Act
- Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education with the ESEA Endorsement
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced educational environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The Substitute Educational Support Specialist will be required to work in a variety of settings, including classrooms, offices, and other educational spaces.
