CNC Machining Specialist

A reputable organization is seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist to enhance their production capabilities. This position offers a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Qualifications for the CNC Machining Specialist

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in G & M code programming with a proven track record in developing Mill and Lathe programs utilizing MasterCam to meet precise specifications.
  • Experience in Wire EDM programming is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of optimal machining practices, including machine setup, tooling selection, and operational parameters.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machining Specialist

  • Evaluate tooling assignments and technical drawings to determine the most effective fabrication methods, machining techniques, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Develop, modify, and sustain CNC machine programs for CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, and Wire EDM operations.
  • Collaborate with CNC machinists to resolve any programming, material, fixture, tooling, or machining issues.
  • Enhance existing programs to optimize machining efficiency and product quality.

The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, typically from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Compensation is set at $43.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience.
