Requirements of the CNC Programmer

· 5+ years of G & M code programming and proven ability to create Mill and Lathe programs using MasterCam to meet specifications

· Wire EDM programming experience

· Working knowledge of best machining practices, machine set-up, tooling selection, feeds, and speeds

Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer

· Analyze tooling jobs and drawings, determine best fabrication practice, machining method, tooling, and fixtures

· Create, edit, and maintain CNC machine programs for CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, and Wire EDM

· Work with CNC machinist to address any issues related to programs, materials, fixtures, tooling, and machining functionality of parts

· Upgrade existing programs to improve machining time and/or product quality

Schedule is 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Monday through Friday

Pay is $40.00 - $43.00 an hour, willing to pay more based on experience
