Authorization Coordinator

Premier Orthopaedic Associates seeks an experienced Authorization Coordinator to enhance our clinical pre-certification process. As an integral member of our team, you will ensure efficient insurance verification and authorization, fostering positive patient experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Verify Patient Insurance: Conduct thorough insurance verifications, identifying potential issues and resolving them promptly.
- Collaborate with Insurers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating fair payment terms and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Support Clinical Teams: Work closely with clinical teams to provide accurate pre-certification information, streamlining the treatment process.
- Manage Data Integrity: Enter patient information accurately into computer systems, maintaining data quality and security.
- Cultivate Positive Relationships: Foster exceptional patient relationships through empathetic communication, active listening, and professionalism.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of medical insurance guidelines and requirements.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems is highly desirable.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with patients, insurers, and colleagues.
- An analytical mind and attention to detail will serve you well in this role.
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience. We also offer additional benefits that support your personal and professional development.
