We are seeking an experienced Custodian 3 Supervisor to join our team at the DSHS Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake, WA.

Job Summary

This is a supervisory role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will oversee a crew of custodians, provide training on general custodial duties and heavy equipment operation, and ensure the cleanliness and safety standards of the facility are met.

About the Job

The salary for this position is approximately $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Custodian 3 Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Hiring, scheduling, and assigning work of team members; training, orientating, and instructing in proper cleaning techniques and safety practices
  • Establishing team performance standards, evaluating employee performance, and recommending corrective actions when necessary
  • Performing safety checks throughout the work area and reporting issues
  • Assisting with coordinating ward moves and office moves
  • Qualifying candidates should have one to two years of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
