We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Answer phone requests for test results to physicians and other healthcare personnel, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Ensure accurate electronic documentation of calls, faxed reports, and other communications.
- Print and fax lab reports as directed by order, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- File lab reports for courier delivery and prepare lab reports for mail, as needed.
- Page courier for stat and routine pick-ups, ensuring timely delivery of critical information.
- Review reports for missing information and correct as necessary, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Retrieve and review original physician orders for demographic information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other departments to problem-solve and provide timely results, embodying the principles of Lean/Six Sigma.
- Driver's License
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- One-year experience in a client services/clerical position required
- Previous laboratory experience preferred
- Computer experience preferred
- Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire
