Machinist Technician

At Prescott Metal, we are seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team in Conway, New Hampshire. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines according to established procedures and safety protocols.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment and tools.
• Measure work-piece dimensions to ensure quality and repeatability.
• Design and recommend tooling to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Notify the Production Manager of worn or broken tooling and suggest changes to improve production processes.

• High school/technical school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of prior Machinist experience.
• Ability to interpret Job Travelers (work orders) and understand Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ability to identify material types and gauges and understand job specifications.
