Machinist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Prescott Metal in Conway, New Hampshire. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines, ensuring high-quality production and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Measure work-piece dimensions to ensure quality and repeatability.
  • Design or recommend tooling to improve efficiency.
  • Notify the Production Manager of worn or broken tooling.
Requirements:
  • High school/technical school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of prior Machinist experience.
  • Ability to interpret Job Travelers (work orders) and understand Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Ability to identify material types and gauges.
