Job SummaryWe are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Washington DC. As a PMHNP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions. You will work closely with our team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Administer initial mental health evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Provide medication management and psychoeducation/supportive therapy
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in mental health care
- Board Certification by the ANCC as a PMHNP
- Minimum of 2 years' post-grad experience practicing as a PMHNP, preferably in a telehealth setting
- Ability to obtain and maintain active and unrestricted license and DEA number
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
