Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient team in Bluefield, WV. As a PMHNP, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status exams, and assessments of behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapy options.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention and support, addressing acute mental health issues when required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists, to coordinate care for patients.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain professional licensure and certification.
- Current and unencumbered West Virginia Nursing license with PMHNP credentials.
- Recently credentialed PMHNPs are encouraged to apply.
- Competitive salary up to $150,000, plus RVU-based bonuses.

- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule with no weekends, holidays off, and no on-call.
