Job Summary

St. Peter's Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team as a Traveling Ultrasound Technician. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including GE systems.
  • Develop and implement protocols for ultrasound exams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS certification and BLS certification required.
  • 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with prior travel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Epic and other relevant software systems.
Work Environment:

As a Traveling Ultrasound Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient facilities. You will be required to travel to different locations, with occasional overnight stays.
