Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiography Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Saint Agnes Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of specialized radiographic procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Provide patient care and physician assistance during procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Collaborate with the Lead Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiographic techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a two-year accredited program in Radiology Technology preferred.
• One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist; valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification and Fluoroscopy permit required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card required; successful completion of basic arrhythmia recognition course within six months of hire date preferred.
• American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography preferred; working knowledge of basic physics, anatomy/physiology, biology, and math required.
