Employment Type:Full timeShift:12 Hour Day ShiftPosition Overview:Under the supervision of the Lead Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, this role is pivotal in executing a range of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. These procedures are essential for the accurate diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular ailments. The incumbent will also engage in routine and specialized radiographic procedures while providing comprehensive patient care and assisting physicians during these critical processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
2. Completion of a two (2) year accredited program in Radiology Technology is essential.
3. A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Cardiac Radiology Technologist is required.
4. Possession of a valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification from the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) is necessary, along with a Fluoroscopy permit.
5. Certification from the American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography is required.
6. A current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card is required.
7. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA must be obtained within one (1) year of employment.
8. A solid understanding of basic physics, anatomy/physiology, biology, mathematics, Basic Arrhythmia, and Advanced Cardiac Arrhythmia is required.
9. The ability to independently perform all Special Procedures examinations is essential.
10. Familiarity with contrast media, radiation physics, anatomy, and radiographic positioning, along with the capability to operate and troubleshoot various radiographic and support equipment independently, is required.

Compensation: Pay Range $55.43
