Position: Temporary Customer Support Specialist - In-office or Remote - Full Time or Part Time

Only in-office candidates will be evaluated for full-time opportunities after the holiday season

Compensation:
  • Remote: $18.00 per hour
  • In-office: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
  • Tentative Start Date: ASAP
  • Tentative End Date: Friday, January 4th
Potential for Full-Time Employment in January 2025 (Hiring Four temporary individuals with the possibility of retaining two)

Job Overview:

We are in search of Customer Support Specialists dedicated to delivering outstanding assistance to our esteemed clients. The ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities, ensuring that our clients enjoy a positive interaction with our brand. Customer Support Specialists will serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, providing timely and precise support through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the initial point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and supplying information on products, services, and company policies.
  2. Respond swiftly to client inquiries through multiple channels, including phone calls, emails, and live chat, ensuring client satisfaction and upholding a positive company image.
  3. Assess and understand client needs to achieve resolution, escalating complex matters to the appropriate department for further assistance (team lead or Manager).
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, and promotions to confidently address client inquiries.
  5. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  6. Keep precise records of client interactions, transactions, comments, and feedback for internal review and analysis.
  7. Resolve client complaints with empathy and professionalism, aiming to exceed expectations and foster client loyalty.
  8. Perform any additional tasks associated with Maine Lobster Now as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Demonstrated experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a retail or e-commerce setting.
  3. Ability to think critically and provide effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
  4. Empathy and patience, along with the capacity to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  5. Proficiency with computers, including the use of customer service platforms, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  6. Flexibility to work in a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
