Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing visual inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings, and maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
  • Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in categories such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting preferred.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
