We are seeking an IP Damages and Valuation Analyst to enhance our team in San Diego, contributing to a variety of intellectual property valuation and litigation consulting projects. The ideal candidate will possess robust financial analysis, writing, and critical thinking capabilities.

The candidate should have a background in economics, financial analysis, statistics, or accounting. Key responsibilities will include analyzing social media metrics, conducting data collection and investigations, developing intricate Excel models, and composing well-referenced reports and presentations. The selected individual will have the chance to make immediate contributions to client projects and collaborate closely with our firm's leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing, formatting, and organizing reports and presentations for clients
  • Creating valuation models and calculating damages (DCF, Comps, etc.)
  • Exhibiting creativity in problem-solving and forming independent opinions
  • Conducting financial analysis and articulating findings clearly and concisely
  • Establishing and adhering to project deadlines while completing essential tasks promptly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, economics, finance, or accounting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel
  • Proficient writing abilities, including excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, research, outlining, editing, and organization
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective teamwork capabilities
