Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a 13-week contract basis at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Appropriate certifications for a Respiratory Therapist.
