Seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Representative to join our team at Chevrolet of Smithtown. As an integral part of our Business Development Center, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and follow up on potential customer leads via internet, phone, and dealership visits.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with former customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Utilize active listening skills to determine each customer's vehicle needs.
  • Familiarize yourself with call and email scripts to ensure consistent communication.
  • Set, confirm, and follow up on appointments for sales and service.
  • Perform surveys with customers to gauge satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers. A proven track record in a BDC center or call center is preferred, but not necessary.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a BDC center or call center is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency and organizational skills.
  • Verifiable work history and professional appearance.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and company-paid factory training.
