This position requires performing cash handling duties, including processing payments, verifying cash balances, and ensuring accurate reporting of cash transactions.

Classification: Non-exempt
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Working Hours: Early morning shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all sales transactions using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and issue receipts to customers.
- Maintain accountability for cash drawers and ensure compliance with cash handling standards.
- Perform basic arithmetic operations to ensure accurate transactions.
- Observe and manage customer orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow established procedures for cash refunds and exchanges.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and cash control procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining facilities.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding customer feedback.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines in food handling and service.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in cashiering or customer service preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and information.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
