Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing specialized therapeutic programming to incarcerated individuals in an alcohol and other drug treatment program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of program content, including security, assessment/evaluation, psycho-educational programming, monitoring and reporting, teaching, training and professional standards.
  • Provide substance use treatment, formulate and implement an individualized treatment plan, and develop a continuing care plan.
  • Teach a psycho-educational course and effectively function within a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements

Clinical Program Therapist 1:

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalently qualified to perform alcohol and drug counseling under Minnesota Statute 148F.11.

Clinical Program Therapist 2:

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalently qualified to perform alcohol and drug counseling under Minnesota Statute 148F.11.
  • One year of experience providing behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy, to clients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Master's degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling/Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science program.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling/Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science program.

Current licensure in Minnesota as a LADC at time of hire.

Current Minnesota licensure as a LP, LPC, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.

Experience working in a correctional/secured environment.

Experience treating clients with co-occurring disorders.
