Job Title: Area Manager

GeoSonics, Inc. is a leading seismic consulting company seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to join our team at our Cheshire, Connecticut location.

About the Role:

As an Area Manager with GeoSonics, Inc., you will be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the Connecticut field office. This includes developing new clients, building positive relationships with existing clients, and managing day-to-day activities of the office and field projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships
  • Manage field projects, including dispatching and scheduling Field Technicians
  • Prepare project proposals and attend project meetings
  • Provide technical and project management support for Field Technicians
  • Review and analyze field data, and write technical reports
  • Interact with the corporate office to submit purchase requisitions, sales orders, expense reports, and time sheets
  • Conduct site inspections and perform on-site and remote seismograph monitoring
  • Ensure a safe working environment and incorporate safety and risk management standards into daily work practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales and management
  • Experience with vibration, noise, and geotechnical installations, measurements, and analysis is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
