About the Role

Cedar Hills Behavioral is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with clients to address behavioral health concerns.
  • Utilize evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive change and well-being.
  • Conduct clinical research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide addiction counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse, utilizing a comprehensive approach that addresses physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
Requirements
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) certification required.
  • Proficiency in psychopharmacology and understanding of medication management principles.
  • Experience working with adults, with a focus on behavioral health theories and interventions.
  • Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy and its application in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to conduct clinical research studies and stay up-to-date with current research findings.
