Key Responsibilities
  • **Food Preparation:** Assist in the preparation, serving, and storage of food, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • **Kitchen Maintenance:** Clean and maintain food service areas, kitchen equipment, and tools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • **Customer Service:** Provide excellent customer service skills, interacting positively with students, staff, and visitors, and modeling positive character traits.
  • **Inventory Management:** Assist with inventory management, including checking out supplies from the storeroom and assisting with deliveries and inventory.
  • **Special Events:** Assist with food production for special functions, such as catering events and school-wide events.
Requirements
  • **Education:** High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
  • **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of related food service experience in a commercial establishment required.
  • **Certifications:** Knowledgeable in food safety and sanitation principles required. (Training will be provided).
  • **Physical Demands:** Good physical condition, able to lift bulk weight up to 55 pounds.
  • **Communication Skills:** Communicate effectively in written and oral form with people using positive interpersonal skills.
