About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Procurement is a key steward of our company's procurement strategy, responsible for engaging with numerous suppliers while working alongside a forward-thinking team in supporting stakeholders throughout Walmart. You will collaborate with your stakeholders in researching, building, and executing supplier strategies to deliver best-in-class savings and cash efficiency.

  • Protect the Company – Leverage system and process to ensure consistency.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Contracting: The ability to develop and lead contract negotiations with vendors, while collaborating with the business stakeholders and legal team.
  • Build Effective RFP's: Modeling historic and real-time market data to identify the right suppliers to support our company objectives.
  • Engaging Stakeholders: Identify and meet with both internal and external teams to drive value and deliver savings.
  • Building strategic Sourcing Strategies: Maximize relationships with new and existing suppliers, understanding, and evaluating their products and capabilities and negotiating advantageous rates.
  • Interpreting Spend Analysis: The ability to read, analyze, and tell the story from data and spend to build a TCO model.
  • Operating with excellence: Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in end-to-end procurement process.
  • Effective RFP development and negotiation experience.
  • Experience in obtaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Proficiency in developing sourcing strategies.
  • Great eye for detail and experience negotiating contracts with vendors.
  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of procurement technology such as Coupa Sourcing.
  • Stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Stock

Minimum Qualifications:

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field and 5 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.

Option 2: 6 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field and 2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams/projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Purchasing Manager or related purchasing manager certification, Experience with cross-functional teams, Master's degree in business or related field, Supervisory experience
