Job Description

Rogers Freels & Associates Inc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will work with state-of-the-art engineering tools and processes to design complex engineering projects for Large Mining Trucks.

This position requires a high level of integration of various components and subsystems in the area of engine and cooling installations. Your responsibilities will include creating concepts and designing projects, working with manufacturability teams, and coordinating product testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing complex engineering projects for Large Mining Trucks
  • Collaborating with manufacturability teams to resolve assembly line manufacturing issues
  • Ensuring timely completion of new product designs and legacy product improvements
  • Coordinating product testing with prototype build and test areas

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an accredited Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical degree
  • 5 or more years of progressive engineering assignments to gain mastery of complex engineering and manufacturability concepts
  • Proficiency in Creo (Pro/E) modeling and simulation tools
