Job SummaryWe're looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at JAG, you'll work with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing your expertise in musculoskeletal interventions and rehabilitation techniques. Your strong clinical decision-making skills and excellent communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with patients, support staff, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, and progress reports to inform treatment plans
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilizations, and modalities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems
- Oversee support staff, including PTA, ATC, and PT aides
- Attend annual JAG Billing and Coding seminar
- Promote JAG in the community through lectures and presentations
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
