PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Employees are tasked with adhering foam components using spray adhesive to align with production timelines.
KEY DUTIES AND TASKS
  • Learn to interpret the daily production schedule and the various styles listed.
  • Accurately read a tape measure to verify dimensions.
  • Determine appropriate cuts for the styles to be assembled.
  • Recognize and report defective components.
  • Label all cut pieces accurately for the gluing process.
  • Communicate effectively with the poly mill manager or floor manager regarding any inquiries or issues that arise during operations.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace while performing tasks.
  • Provide assistance to others when needed.
  • Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned.
SAFETY OBLIGATIONS
  • Personal safety is your responsibility.
  • Report any work-related injuries or illnesses immediately.
  • Keep the workspace clean and free from hazards; the use of compressed air without proper safety nozzles for cleanup is prohibited.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Always utilize proper lifting techniques to avoid bending and twisting at the waist.
  • Inspect hand tools and safety equipment prior to use.
  • Understand the hazards associated with the equipment and procedures utilized in the job.
  • Immediately report any defective or malfunctioning machinery, tools, or safety equipment.
  • Engage in safety training and participate in safety meetings.
  • Report any hazards or risks related to policies or procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Basic reading and writing skills are essential.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Must accurately identify colors.
SAFETY MEASURES
  • Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times within the department and throughout designated areas of the plant.
  • Safety protocols are enforced daily to prevent accidents.
