ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Employees are responsible for adhering foam components together utilizing spray adhesive to fulfill production requirements.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Must be proficient in interpreting daily production schedules and various product styles.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and verify dimensions.
  • Determine appropriate cuts for the respective styles to be assembled.
  • Recognize and report defective components.
  • Accurately label all cut pieces for the gluing process.
  • Engage with the poly mill manager or floor manager regarding any inquiries or issues that arise during the job.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow employees to uphold a team-oriented environment.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace while executing tasks.
  • Provide assistance to colleagues when necessary.
  • Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Promptly report any work-related injuries or illnesses.
  • Keep the work area clean and free from hazards. THE USE OF COMPRESSED AIR WITHOUT PROPER SAFETY NOZZLE IS PROHIBITED FOR CLEAN-UP.
  • Wear the required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Always practice proper lifting techniques: avoid bending and twisting at the waist whenever feasible.
  • Inspect hand tools and protective gear prior to use.
  • Understand the hazards associated with the equipment and procedures utilized on the job.
  • Immediately report any defective or malfunctioning machinery, tools, or protective equipment.
  • Participate in safety training and meetings.
  • Report any hazards or risks related to policies or procedures.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Basic reading and writing skills are necessary.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in the English language.
  • Must be capable of accurately identifying colors.
SAFETY
  • Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times within the department and throughout the facility where required.
  • Safety protocols are enforced daily to prevent accidents.
