As a Sales Support Specialist, your role will involve maintaining essential reports, monitoring shipments, and addressing any challenges that arise, all while ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the Sales team in managing key client accounts
  • Inputting shipment details and confirming updates on shipment statuses
  • Coordinating pickup and delivery schedules with customers and warehouses
  • Overseeing shipment progress from initiation to completion, and keeping clients informed throughout the process
  • Resolving any shipment-related issues and providing timely updates to clients
  • Entering data into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and preparing loads for accounting, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Communicating any shipment, billing, or follow-up concerns to the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations Group
  • Prioritizing daily tasks and focusing on your assigned accounts, including load entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Monitoring performance metrics
To thrive in this role, you will need:

At a minimum, you should possess:
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • A self-driven work ethic with the capability to operate independently or collaboratively within a team
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
It would be advantageous if you also have:
  • A year of experience in sales or customer service
  • A year of relevant experience and/or training, along with a general understanding of the transportation sector
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of identifying and addressing issues
