Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Associate Director in all aspects of digital media plan development and recommendations.
  • Interpret communications and digital media strategy and translate it into communication planning action steps.
  • Oversee and manage a team of Associates and day-to-day operations of all media activity.
  • Demonstrate initiative by researching and identifying valuable information and insights to improve media products.
  • Fully embrace our company's guiding principles for all media and communication recommendations.
  • Determine and supervise the best possible implementation of all approved communication plans and projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stewardship requests.
  • Learns and understands all phases of clients' marketing objectives and provides media recommendations to deliver against these objectives.
  • Understand all proprietary research tools and processes and apply learning during communication planning.
  • Prepare and present communication plans, as needed, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials.
  • Establish strong working relationships with partner agencies, delivering a seamless communications process.
  • Demonstrate agility via multitasking multiple brands, strategic development, and plan stewardship, management of Associates.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with all implementation teams, ensuring they fully understand brand communication objectives and strategies.
  • Train and develop Associates, including effective delegation, managing group dynamics, and establishing strong leadership skills.
  • Evaluate performance of Associates via PMP process, including assisting in the establishment of cascading goals.
  • Check work of Associates to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for Associate career development.
  • Participate in MDS Training offerings.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of digital media planning experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize projects for self and Associates.
  • Excellent understanding of media fundamentals.
  • Demonstrates ability in training and leadership capability.
  • Provides an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the planning function.
