Job Description

We are seeking a talented civil engineering student to join our team as a Construction Intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the North Tarrant Express (NTE) Projects, which aim to relieve congestion, improve safety, and provide for anticipated traffic growth in one of the country's fastest developing regions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Prepare labor schedules and manage subcontractors' scope of work
  • Order and receive materials, supplies, tools, and equipment
  • Process changes orders and recommend solutions to design changes throughout the construction process
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited US college or university
  • Demonstrated qualities of leadership and hard work
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
