Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Intern to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a Laboratory Intern, you will be responsible for performing routine laboratory maintenance tasks, including glassware cleaning, instrument verification, calibration, and solution preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process incoming samples, maintaining accurate records and reviewing testing specifications.
- Assist the Laboratory Coordinator with sample submission and reviewing laboratory testing capabilities, as needed.
- Participate in training programs to improve company procedures and operations.
- Support analysts in routine physical and chemical testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
- Document analytical results in accordance with cGMP regulations.
- Utilize various analytical chemistry and wet chemical procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to work at the designated shift assigned and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a cGMP, quality environment.
