Position Overview

Turner & Townsend is a renowned global consultancy firm specializing in project delivery and operational services across various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources.

We are in search of a Lead Mechanical and Plumbing Cost Estimator to enhance our team. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities and a solid background in generating Mechanical and Plumbing cost estimates for extensive manufacturing construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive estimates and cost planning, culminating in the presentation of the final cost plan.
  • Support feasibility assessments and procurement documentation.
  • Oversee all facets of the procurement process.
  • Engage in post-contract cost variance analysis and change management procedures.
  • Deliver monthly post-contract cost reports along with value engineering recommendations.
  • Foster client relationships and lead the cost management team as required.
  • Spot opportunities for new business ventures and enhancements in cost management practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in MEP construction cost estimation.
  • Strong technical expertise across all areas of cost management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
