Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
United Community & Family Services Inc is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our primary care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations by escorting them to the room, obtaining and recording assessment information, and performing screening tests and procedures.
- Ensure clean and stocked exam rooms and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Perform quality control and improvement activities as assigned.
- Coordinate outside referrals and schedule appointments for outside tests as ordered by the physician.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of experience working in a primary care office preferred.
- Completion of a training course resulting in a degree or certificate as a Medical Assistant, CNA, or EMT.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred with pay differential offered.
