Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Allen Spolden. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, including TCAR, AAA, Peripheral vascular, Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Right and Left Heart Cath, STEMI, and Stroke.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide patient-centered care, demonstrating critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, and implement safety standards and quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification.
  • Strong experience in Hemodynamics and a minimum of 1-2 years of Cath Lab experience.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology and/or interventional Cardiology is highly desirable.
